Facilitating Florida’s work on a Model Charter School Performance Framework and an Authorizer Report Card

Safal Partners work with the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) was expanded recently.  Safal Partners is facilitating study group for the FDOE that is developing a state-wide, model charter school performance framework. The working group includes representatives of the state and district authorizers, as well as a variety of charter school operators. The charter operators include representatives of charters run by networks and independent charters, as well as alternative education campuses and centers for student with disabilities. The project was recently expanded to include additional work to create an annual report on charter school authorizers that will be produce by the state and reflect the extent to which districts are implementing strong authorizer practices that match a set of voluntary authorizer principles that was previously developed in the state.
